This machine is located in a covered outdoor structure across from the Blacksmith shop in San Diego's Old Town. The blacksmith shop in turn is behind the Seeley Stable Museum.
A placard explains that this machine was used to bend flat bars of iron into a smooth circle to be used for the tires on wagons, carts and buggies.
