EN: The village square fountain of Wenslingen was created in the year 1832. In the 17th century, there was a square stone fountain at this location. The octagonal basin consists of stone slabs that are connected with iron clamps. The fountain column is not in the center of the fountain, as usual, but on the eastern edge. With a diameter of 565 cm, this fountain is the largest of its kind in the canton of Basel-Land. In 2000, it was extensively renovated.

DE: Der Dorfplatzbrunnen von Wenslingen stammt aus dem Jahr 1832. An seiner Stelle stand im 17. Jahrhundert ein quadratischen Brunnen. Der achteckige Trog besteht aus Steinplatten, die mit Eisenklammern verbunden sind. Der Brunnenstock steht nicht in der Mitte, wie bei solchen Brunnen sonst üblich, sondern am östlichen Rand. Mit einem Durchmesser von 565 cm ist dieser Brunnen der grösste seiner Art im Kanton Basel-Land. Im Jahr 2000 wurde er umfassend renoviert.
