An unframed oil painting which is on the Southwest wall of the WPA built Post Office.
Starting from the right the mural shows a post office (does not resemble the actual post office in Ranger). The post office in the mural is two story red brick. There are cowboys lounging in front of it. At the front of the picture is a man walking followed by a hound.
In the middle of the mural are more town buildings including a grocery store. There is a telegraph pole. A wagon loaded with cotton bales. At the front is a cotton bale with a man seated next to it.
To the left of the mural are more town buildings. At the front are more cowboys and farmers engaged in conversation.
