The statue called "Gettysburg Lincoln Statue" was created by Daniel Chester French and dedicated in 1912 and is located at the west entrance to the Capitol. French is also created the sitting statue of Abraham Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Gettysburg Address is engraved on the granite backdrop.
