Without a sign for the park, and uncertain of the name, we called city hall after returning home. Its official name is Patterson Park.
Patterson Park
Is a small, grassy, and tree-studded, park and is one short block away from Republic’s historic Clark Ave (main street), and is a pleasant spot to eat a picnic lunch, sip a latte, watch children play on the swings, or exercise your leashed dog.
The park is centrally located at the corner of Kean Street and Highway 20 W., across from Ferry County Historical Society.
This is a busy park with events held throughout the year for local residents and visitors.
In addition to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Prospectors’ Days and Mountain Music Festival, regular picnics, live music, car shows and other fun events are also held at Patterson Park.
