The Pond and Wetlands of Elm Fork
A breakdown on even more critters that you can see here, although many of them tend to be hard to locate in the hot summer months. There are inset photos of the Blotched Water Snake, the Green Tree Frog, and the Belted Kingfisher.
The Importance of Wetlands
Anybody who spends time in the outdoors is aware of the ecosystem and how it operates, even when things don't look good, such as after a drought.
