This iconic landmark in the world of golf was built over 700 years ago to help the local shepherds cross the Swilcan Burn into St.Andrews. Nowadays it`s crossed by thousands of golfers and tourists on the 18th fairway of the Old Course. It is now regarded as the main photo opportunity for retiring legends of the game at Open Championships at St.Andrews. Arnold Palmer 1995, Jack Nicklaus 2005 and Tom Watson 2015, all said goodbye on this bridge. A replica can be found at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St.Augustine, Florida.
