Reredos, behind the altar of St Catherine's church. The reredos contains the Ten Commandments. The arches are of white marble, and the pillars are of red/black marble

"1864-65: Kingsdown (near Sittingbourne), Kent - St. Catherine (for Thomas Pemberton Leigh - 1st Baron Kingsdown): a small aisleless church (built on the site of an earlier church) with stained glass by Hardman & Co, and high quality stone carving by RL Boulton. The church is now redundant, and is maintained (since 1989) by the Churches Conservation Trust. The parsonage is not by EW Pugin, but by W Burn."

"The interiors feature the original, richly coloured stained glass, decoration, furniture, and furnishings, making it a virtual time capsule of Victorian church architecture. St Catherine's is no longer used for regular worship and is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust."
