Jim and Lorna Ross purchased this retired unit in 2001, and eventually arranged for it to serve as a seating area for their shop, 'Flat Pennies Ice Cream' where they serve real Wisconsin soft-serve ice cream and luncheon items. The name of shop refers to the childhood activity of placing pennies on railroad tracks, and recovering them after they have been flattened by a passing train. Read more on their website:
