There are the so-called 'Scheidegger Wasserfälle', a waterfall of about 1,5 km in the east of the German-Austrian border, located at Scheidegg, Bayern, Germany.

There are the so-called 'Scheidegger Wasserfälle', a waterfall of about 1,5 km in the east of the German-Austrian border, located at Scheidegg, Bayern, Germany.

The waterfalls are composed of several rock steps where the Rickenbach overcomes a total difference about a height of 40m. The area around the waterfalls has been classified for the Environment as geoscientifically valuable Geotop (Geotop no. 776R007) by the Bavarian State Office. In 2004, the waterfalls were also included in the list of 100 most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria.
