The church occupies a prominent location on a rise overlooking Gulgong. A combination of local limestone & timber sees a very attractive, well maintained building. The bell tower is of wood with the bell surrounded by lattice work. The church yard is a mix of exotic & native plant species offering parishioners a shady place to talk after mass.
