"Der Turm:
hieß früher die "Hohe Wacht". Er bot Platz für die Glocken und einen Wächter, der auf Feuer und Feinde achten mußte, um mit der Glocke auf dem Umgang Alarm zu schlagen. Der Zugang zum Turm war ursprünglich auf dem Kirchenspeicher, später in der Turmhalle. 1978 wurde der Sockel der Wendeltreppe aufgebrochen, und die Wendeltreppe beginnt seitdem auf dem Kirchplatz. 168 Stufen sind es bis zum Umgang. Dort sieht man an klaren Tagen die nahen Berge des Taunus, in der Ferne Vogelsberg, Spessart und Odenwald sowie den Rhein und das vielfältige Leben in der Ebene. Die Gliederung der Geschosse des Turmes beginnt mit der heute verglasten Halle im Erdgeschoss. Hier steht das alte Kirchhof-Kreuz, das eine Familie Sonderßhauser, aus Salzburg kommend, gestiftet hat. Daneben steht der spätgotische Taufstein, der sich länger außerhalb als in der Kirche befand. Über der Holzbalkendecke, die das ursprüngliche Kreuzgewölbe ersetzt, befinden sich drei Geschosse des Kirchturm-Museums. Sie waren 1942 als öffentlicher Luftschutzraum für die Bewohner der Altstadt zum Schutz vor Fliegerangriffen eingebaut worden. Die dicke Betondecke ist in der darüberliegenden Uhrenkammer zu sehen. Das oberste Geschoss ist die Glockenkammer.
Das große Geläute besteht aus vier Glocken. Die Christopherusglocke (1986) ist die kleinste und jüngste. Die Josefsglocke stammt aus dem Jahr 1954. Die St. Ursula geweihte Glocke datiert aus dem Jahr 1696. Sie wurde nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg auf dem Hamburger Glockenfriedhof wiedergefunden und kam nach Oberursel zurück. Die älteste Glocke von 1508 wird "Maria Krafft" oder "Große Glocke" genannt. Sie wiegt 2600 kg und wurde von Georg Krafft aus Mainz gegossen"
