Memorial Stadium is now known as Joe Albi Stadium. It is located in the northwest part of the Spokane and just east of the Spokane River.

Memorial/Joe Albi Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium and opened in September 1950 and is now primarily used for high school football with 25,000 seating capacity.

On Friday, August 30, 1957 at 8:00 pm Elvis performed in Spokane. Tickets were $1.50, $2.50 and $3.50.

Mob hysteria gripped Spokane Municipal stadium last night as thousands keyed up teenagers screamed, shrieked and shouted their approval of Elvis Presley.

The wild gyrations and jumpy songs of the Rock 'n' Roll singer whipped a good part of the crowd of 12,000 persons into screaming squealing mass."
