A statue of the great Christian warrior (Braun, 1732), which stood in the woods near Bethlehem over Zirc and threatened against the local enemy Kuks - the Jesuits.


The statue is part of a collection of sculptures by Matthias Bernhard Braun on the premises of a hospital in Kuks. It is one of the most famous sets Czech Baroque sculpture, generously proportioned space, dynamic, perfect in form and rich variations of the theme. The decoration of the Kuks Hospice is rightly the most significant works of the High Baroque in Europe.
