Built in 1856, the historic Babcock Mill is a must see when visiting Odessa. The mill combined woolen factory, grist, planning and saw milling operations. It has been restored as a fully operational water-powered mill and park site.
The upper sluice is in surprisingly good condition but only the frame remains of the sluice gates. I've included pictures of the dam as well used to raise the water level and direct water down the sluice.
