The
Frankford Cemetery Association gives a dedication year of 1899, while the Texas Historical Marker at the front of the building and the website of the Church of the Holy Communion (see Website) simply indicate "1890s." The Texas Historical Marker was placed in 1978, when the Church of the Holy Communion was still using the sanctuary, and it says:
The White Rock Masonic Lodge Hall served as a schoolhouse and church building for the early Frankford community. Among the worshipers were a group of Methodists who were organized as part of a circuit in 1885. In the 1890s, this frame church building was erected through the efforts of Captain William McKamy (1823-1902) and several neighbors. The Methodists occupied the structure until 1924. Episcopal services began here in the 1960s.

The easiest route to the cemetery is to follow Briargrove Ln from the Dallas North Tollway/Dallas Parkway to Muirfield Dr. Turn right (south) and follow Muirfield until you reach the Church of the Holy Communion. The Frankford Church will be ahead of you, to the right, and you'll also see the historic Frankford Cemetery.
Note that services are no longer offered in this historic sanctuary, as the Church of the Holy Communion moved across the way to a new structure in 2006, having worshiped here since the early 1960s. Communion is offered at the Church of the Holy Communion at 9 AM, with the main prayer service at 11:15 AM, each Sunday.
