The Lorne Lodge AF&AM is located in Glencoe, Ontario. Lodge #282 was established in 1872. They met at the McKellar House/Hotel beginning on May 8th, 1872 until 1873 when they moved to the Town Hall starting on January 25th. The McKellar House was where Foodland is today.
The Town Hall eventually burned down in 1893 and they moved into the Clanahan Block until 1896. After using William French's business' upper floor until 1902, they moved to the upper floor of the Transcript newspaper building until 1958 when they moved into 199 Main St.
The Lodge was given a commemorative plaque in 1997 for its 125th year anniversary. The building is also host to Thomson Maroney Delorey Barristers and Solicitors.
UPDATE in 2022: In 2017 the building was sold due to declining membership. The Lorne Masonic Lodge now meets at Wardsville at the Hammond Lodge room. They celebrate their 150th anniversary this year.
