This waymark is for International Fireworks Festival in Zagreb, Croatia. It is a 3-day event that is organized each year in June. It was 16th festival in 2016. The exact dates varies depending of weekends as it is always organized on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Fireworks usually takes place around 23:30, but it can be bit earlier or bit later, depending on weather conditions. Each day one international team prepares the firework display and the last day winner is announced.
It is organized by pyrotechnics company called Mirnovec Pirotehnika. Firworks are fired from the north side of Sava River and fireworks display can be observed from both side of Sava River embankment. Waymark coordinates are placed on north side of Sava River.
