In Odernheim, a water dam is installed to provide the Bannmühle mill with water to generate energy.
Opposite the mill, a fish ladder was installed.
Since 1918, when they changed from mechanical whater wheels to hydro turbines, they produce electric energy. Currently their hydroeclectric power station is equiped with two Francis turbines with 25kW and 50kW power.
