The building is on the southwest corner of a residential block of houses of roughly similar vintage, 1950s and earlier. The south (main) façade is of Mission Revival style, with a stepped and reverse curved pediment above the entrance portico and Roman arched windows each side, also with small round pillars each side of the portico. Other that brackets under the eaves, there is not much else that suggests Mission Revival.
At the rear of the building, in what would, in a church, normally be referred to as the transept, is a Christian Science Reading Room.
The
Church's website is pretty light on information, offering less than little help in knowing more about it.
