The eagle is approx. 3 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 10 in. It is painted black.
The sculpture is a reproduction of an original zinc sculpture which was installed on the courthouse in 1897-1898. The original has since been lost or destroyed. The reproduction was created as part of the courthouse renovation project.
