Right in the town of Casino, this is a marker pretty much anyone will be able to find.

This cast iron PM box is on the south eastern corner of the bend in the road where Barker Street and Hickey Street meet. The lid on the box is embossed "SURVEY PM COORD".
This survey marker is at a "Scenic Roadside Lookout" for the Richmond River. There is a concrete footpath that goes down to cross the Richmond River (when it is NOT in flood). The PM Box is set into the concrete footpath, beside the concrete curbing of Barker and Hickey Streets.
You will need hand tools of some kind, though hopefully NOT power tools, to open to cover, and you may need to scoop out more soil to get to the actual marker if the ants have been busy.
