The Irvine Ranch National Natural Landmark includes two seperate areas. One by Crystal Cove and Private land near Laguna Beach and the other natural canyohns northeast of Orange.

The land incompased by the Irvine Ranch National Natural Landmark includes lands on California State Parks, county, city, private, and The Nature Conservancy property.
It protects coastal sage scrub and beach cliffs in the south, and oak woodlands and riparian habitat in the north.
The location given is in the Crystal Cove State Beach where fantastic geological features and marine tidepool habitat can be seen. There is a $10 parking fee at this location, but other locations do not have parking fees.
Much of the northern sections of the landmark are accessed by contacting the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve. They restrict access to docent led activities listed on their website.
