100 years ago, car racing got its start here when two automobile pioneers, Ransom E. Olds and Alexander Winton, squared off on Ormond's hard packed beach sands. For 3 decades, Ormond's broad beach was the Valhalla of automobile racing.
On display in the park, are the replicas of the first two automobiles to race on the beach at Ormond.
