The South Ormond Neighborhood Center specializes in programs for youths at risk. Besides teaching life and learning skills, it stresses education through recreation, offering sports leagues and clinics as well as tournaments and summer camps.

The complex includes baseball fields, tennis courts, a walking and biking path, and a gym with three basketball and two volleyball courts.
The center's splash pad, kitchen, meeting rooms and picnic pavilion are also available for rental.
