Das Kreuz stammt angeblich aus der Zeit vor der Türkenbelagerung von 1683. Es ist ein polychromierter Corpus auf dunklem Kreuz. 1863 wurde die Christusfigur neu hergestellt und geweiht. Warum das Kreuz "Rotes Kreuz" genannt wird, konnten wir nicht eruieren.

The cross is said to date from the time before the Turkish invasion of 1683. It is a polychromatic corpus on a dark cross. In 1863, the figure of Christ was recreated and consecrated. We couldn't find out, why the cross is called "Red Cross".
