THE STATION IS LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN OF GILBERT, TOWNSHIP 01 SOUTH, RANGE 06 EAST, SECTION 16, OWNERSHIP - SRP CANAL R/W.
TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF US 60 AND GREENFIELD ROAD (EXIT 185), DRIVE SOUTH ON GREENFIELD ROAD FOR 3.3 MI (5.3 KM) TO THE NORTHWEST BANK OF THE CONSOLIDATED (EASTERN) CANAL AND PARK ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROAD, WALK WEST 60 FT (18.3 M) FROM THE CENTERLINE OF GREENFIELD ROAD, TO THE STATION AS DESCRIBED.
MONUMENT DESCRIPTION - THE STATION IS MARKED BY AN ALUMINUM CAP
COMPRESSED ON A 18 FOOT (5.5 M) STAINLESS STEEL ROD DRIVEN TO REFUSAL ENCASED IN A 1INCH GREASED PVC SLEEVE ENCLOSED IN A 5 INCH PVC PIPE WITH A COUNTY LOGO ACCESS COVER STAMPED 2BL1 1999, SURROUNDED WITH A CONCRETE COLLAR FLUSH WITH THE GROUND, WITNESSED BY A WHITE CARSONITE MARKER.
STATION TIES: 60 FT (18.3 M) WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF GREENFIELD ROAD, 29 FT (8.8 M) EAST OF A TELCO BOX, 4.5 FT (1.4 M) NORTH OF THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF THE BRIDGE ON GREENFIELD ROAD CROSSING OVER THE EASTERN CANAL, AND 4.0 FT (1.2 M) NORTH OF A WHITE CARSONITE MARKER.
