EN: The gym at the Schützenweg was built in 1902 by the famous architect Karl Moser. The building does not fit any typical stylistical classification. The curved gables and the entrance area with the onion roof have a bit of an art nouveau look, without actually being. On the other hand, the antiquated façades with their pilasters made of raw bricks form a strong contrast.
DE: Die Turnhalle am Schützenweg wurde 1902 von dem bekannten Architekten Karl Moser erbaut. Das Gebäude lässt sich stilistisch nicht einordnen. Die geschwungenen Giebel und der Eingangsbereich mit der Zwiebelhaube wirken ein bisschen wie Jugendstil, ohne es tatsächlich zu sein. Dagegen bilden die altertümlich wirkenden Fassaden mit ihren Lisenen aus Bruchsteinen einen starken Gegensatz.
