Der Tilgner-Brunnen wurde 1902 zur Erinnerung an den Bildhauer Viktor Tilgner anhand eines aus seinem Nachlass stammenden Originalmodells errichtet und steht heute unter Denkmalschutz. Im Zentrum der Granit-Brunnenschale befindet sich ein Sockel mit der Inschrift „Zum Andenken Viktor Tilgners errichtet von der Gemeinde Wien im Jahre 1902“. Auf diesem Sockel steht eine Bronzeskulptur mit zwei Putten, die Wasserspeier in Form eines Fisches bzw. einer Gans halten. Am Rand des Brunnenbeckens befinden sich vier Bronzeplastiken, die wasserspeiende Frösche darstellen.

The Tilgner Fountain was erected in 1902 to commemorate the sculptor Viktor Tilgner on the basis of an original model from his estate and is now under monument protection. In the center of the granite well basin there is a pedestal with the inscription "In memory of Viktor Tilgner erected by the municipality of Vienna in 1902". On this pedestal stands a bronze sculpture with two putti holding water spouts in the form of a fish and a goose.
