Outside of Tieringen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is the 'Schlichem-Quelle' located. This is the natural spring of the small Schlichem River.

The water flows into an old bassin.
The Schlichem River is a small river with a total length of 33km.
It ends up into the Neckar River.

There is a small sign at the spring with this text:
'Hier entspringt die Schlichem in 880 m Höhe und endet nach 33 km bei Epfendorf in den Neckar'
(Here, the "Schichen" rises at an altitude of 880 m and ends at 33 km at Epfendorf in the Neckar)

There's a second information board about the Schlichem River.

The spring is on public ground and can be visited all the time without any restrictions.
