This statue of Miles Gilbert "Tim" Horton is located at the corner of Main Street and Marine Drive in Buffalo, New York, near the Canalside Metro Station. Located just down the street from the Keybank Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres, the statue was given as a gift to the City of Buffalo from the Tim Hortons coffee chain to honor Tim's first game played at the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium on October 8th, 1972.
The statue is made of bronze and sculpted by Jerry McKenna of Boerne, Texas. A plaque is located here describing Tim's hockey career.
