[EN] The church of Lorrain, built in 1687, was destroyed by several cyclones, rebuilt in 1840, and again destroyed by the cyclone of 1891, it is significant of a new architectural style, characteristic of the XIX century, rectangular type.
The plan of the building is in Latin cross. The bell tower, composed of four bells, rebuilt in 1881 breaks with this homogeneity by marking by its reduced size and the use of wood in a concern to adapt to local conditions.
Closed for work for ten years, it was rebuilt and restored to the faithful in December 2012. Classified in the inventory of historical monuments it is currently a place of worship that arouses the interest of visitors.
