This former Chapel replaced an old chapel which became the Sunday School when the new Chapel opened. At one time the old chapel had a reading room which also contained a billiard table.
Ballaugh New (Ballakinnag) Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is now a garage for an adjacent residential property although the building retains its distinctive arched windows.
