When the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation acquired Riverside Park in Agawam, MA and converted it into a Six Flags park they did not need to stretch their imaginations to make the six flags connection. There were already six New England states, each with their own flag.
So visitors to the Six Flags New England parking lot are greeted with six flagpoles each flying the flag of a New England State. From right to left in the default photo they are:
Massachusetts
Connecticut
New Hampshire
Maine
Vermont
Rhode Island
