Under the bay of the northern wall of the second bay of the nave,
1914-1918 (36 names given year by year), 1940-1947 (9 names) were placed on the list of deaths of the two world wars.
The bell tower has two bells, one of 1924, the other of
1952 (recasting the bell of Osmond, founder of the king,
Blessed by Bishop de Bouille, Bishop of Poitiers from 1819 to
1842).
A church that is preserved today, and where the Romanesque, Gothic,

Les aménagements liturgiques de la fin du 20e siècle
ont amené la suppression de la chaire, mais le grand
crucifix qui lui faisait face est resté à droite du nouvel autel du carré du transept. De nouveaux fonts baptismaux
ont été placés dans le collatéral nord du chœur élargi, en lien avec une tapisserie (inspirée de Haïti) du Comité catholique contre la faim et pour le développement (C.C.F.D). Le chemin de croix
de 1886 a été restauré en 2007.
Ont été gardés la grande grille de communion (fer forgé, E. Bourdeau, serrurier, Niort), les stalles, les
bancs, le confessionnal, mobilier installé en 1879, ainsi
que les anciens fonts baptismaux de forme octogonale
à gauche de l'entrée.
Quelques statues ont aussi été conservées : Vierge
couronnée à l'Enfant et Sacré Cœur sur les autels des
absidioles, Thérèse de l'Enfant Jésus et Antoine de Padoue dans la 2e travée du chœur élargi.
Sous la baie du mur nord de la 2e travée de la nef, a
été placée la liste des morts des deux guerres mondiales, 1914-1918 (36 noms donnés année par année), 1940-1947 (9 noms).
Le clocher a deux cloches, l'une de 1924, l'autre de
1952 (refonte de la cloche d'Osmond, fondeur du roi,
bénie par Mgr de Bouillé, évêque de Poitiers de 1819 à
1842).
Une église dont on assure la conservation de nos jours, et où sont présents l'âge roman, le gothique, le
19e, le 20e siècle, avec des formes renouvelées de célébration. Une église de mémoire et de prière.
