Longwood plans upgrades to Reiter Park
Longwood has talked about upgrading its 6-acre Reiter Park for years, and now plans are moving forward again.
City officials say the park improvements — including a new amphitheater with a sound system — will draw people from the nearby SunRail commuter train station planned for North Ronald ReaganBoulevard and West Church Avenue. Construction on the station's platform is scheduled to be completed by this fall. However, no word yet on when construction of the station will start.
