Prírodní rezervace Travný je vyhlášena na západním úbocí hory Travný v Moravskoslezských Beskydech. Úcelem rezervace je hlavne ochrana fragmentu prirozených lesních porostu s výskytem vzácných rostlin a živocichu. Chránené území se nachází na ploše s prevýšením až 673 m.

Travný Nature Reserve is proclaimed on the western slope of the Travný mountain in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains. The purpose of the reservation is mainly to protect fragments of natural forest stands with the occurrence of rare plants and animals. The protected area is located on an area with an elevation of up to 673 m.
