To all those who have served, especially to those who have paid the price and borne the burden of preserving our liberty. A grateful nation can never adequately give thanks in humble gratitude. This marker is dedicated to their memories to remind all that “these dead shall not have died in vain…”

Description of Memorial: Laid out on a circular pad, farthest back is a rectangular granite block with the inscription above.
In the center of the pad is a round table with the names of the sponsors who helped make this Eagle Scout Project possible.
Six short columns display the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Merchant Marine.
