Im nördlichen Teil des Freizeitparks Rheinaue befindet sich der Blindengarten, ein Garten speziell für blinde Besucher konzipiert. Zentrales Element des Gartens ist die Skulptur "Blindenbrunnen" von Richard Engels. Diese lädt die Besucher nicht nur zum Ertasten der Figuren ein, sie erzählt zudem eine interessante Geschichte über die Wahrnehmung der Welt durch blinde Personen. Die Geschichte wird - natürlich auch in Braille - auf einer Informationstafel erklärt.

Rings um den zentralen Platz sind Wege und Hochbeete angelegt worden, die blinden Personen eine einfache Orientierung ermöglichen. Die angepflanzten Pflanzen und Blumen dürfen natürlich auch gerne ertastet werden. Zudem steht am Eingang eine Bronzetafel mit Beschriftungen in Braille, die sehenden und blinden Besuchern einen Überblick über den Garten gibt.
In the northern part of the park Freizeitpark Rheinaue is the "Blindengarten", a garden specially designed for blind visitors. The central element of the garden is the sculpture "Blindenbrunnen" by Richard Engels. This not only invites the visitors to feel the figures, it also tells an interesting story about the perception of the world by blind people. The story is explained - of course also in Braille - on an information board.

Around the central square, paths and elevated beds have been laid out, which allow blind persons a simple orientation. Of course, the plants and flowers planted can also be felt. There is also a bronze slab with inscriptions in Braille at the entrance, giving the seeing and blind visitors an overview of the garden.
