"Die spätgotische Alte Nikolaikirche ist eine evangelische Kirche in der Altstadt von Frankfurt am Main. Ihr Namenspatron ist der Heilige Nikolaus, der Schutzheilige der Fischer. Sie liegt nahe dem Main am Römerberg und ist als Teil eines charakteristischen Ensembles auch über Frankfurt hinaus bekannt. Der Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts als Hofkapelle begründete Bau stammt in seiner heutigen Erscheinung aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und wird als eine der acht Dotationskirchen Frankfurts seit 1949 als Gotteshaus von der Evangelischen Paulsgemeinde genutzt.
