This area is part of the Battle of Fredericksburg Military Park that is located along Lee Drive. The trail up to the site has parking that can be found on Lee Drive, being that this area is maintained by the National Park Service, there is a fee that you pay to explore the area at the Visitor Center.

At the end of the trail on top of Lee's Hill there is a informational display and map as well as two cannons and a monument marking the area.
