Otter Lake Camp offers a wilderness type experience. It's located within the UNESCO-designated Frontenac Arch Biospshere on North Otter Lake and next to Frontenac Provincial Park.
The granite, trees, lakes and swamps of the Canadian Shield is the setting for this camp. The long-distance Rideau Trail hiking trail also comes through the property.
According to the camp's website (http://www.kingstonscouting.ca/camps/otter-lake/) there is a dining hall (no heat) with two recently expanded kitchens, vault toilets, activity field and three main wilderness campsites. Access to Frontenac Park is by hiking trails or by water through Doe Lake. The camp is 88 acres in size and is operated by Voyageur Council, Loyalist Area.
