Elmwood Golf Course was opened around twenty years ago as part of Elmwood College, an agricultural college which uses the course to train greenkeepers.

The weathervane is on top of a clock which sits on the pinnacle of the clubhouse. It depicts a golfer swinging a club with a bag behind.

The course is two miles west of the town of Cupar in the Fife countryside.
