The farmers of the marsh brought the milk by boat to the hold where it was hoisted on the quay. The three dairies then came to buy it on the spot.
The lifting crane is still on site.
les agriculteurs du marais apportaient le lait en bateau jusqu'à la cale ou il était hissé sur le quai. Les 3 laiteries venaient ensuite l'acheter sur place.
La grue de levage est encore sur place.
