This was built in 1885, by Mr Edward Scanlon. "The western
verandah was later enclosed to accommodate the telephone exchange, yesterdays equivalent of talk-back radio."
It is built of red Uralla brick, with a two-storey central section. It appears that the western single-storey section has been added at a later date, as it of a more 'pink' brick.
