FR De 1983 à 1991, une manifestation internationale de sculpture en marbre de Carrare fut organisée à Digne les Bains. Cette manifestation permit à la ville de se doter de très nombreuses œuvres (celles primées) qui, depuis cette époque, sont exposées sur les lieux publics : ronds-points, squares et jardins publics, ...

Depuis l'arrêt de cette manifestation, la ville n'a plus gardé trace du nom des œuvres primées, des emplacements où elles ont été placées et surtout, sans maintenir, nettoyer ce patrimoine.

On voit donc ici et là des sculptures. La plaque s'il y en a une est effacée. Certaines, si leurs auteurs sont devenus célèbres doivent valoir énormément d'argent ... mais plus personne n'en a gardé la trace !

Cette oeuvre est sur la pelouse, le long de l'avenue Simone-Pellisier. En suivant cette longue avenue (1,2 km), on peut en voir plusieurs.

Cet "homme couché" semblait avoir un pied et une main amovible (voir photos)
EN From 1983 to 1991, an international fair of Carrara marble sculpture was held in Digne les Bains. This event allowed the city to acquire a large number of works (the award-winning ones), which since that time are exhibited in public places: roundabouts, squares and public gardens, ...

Since the end of the demonstration, the city has no longer kept track of the names of the award-winning works, the places where they were placed and above all, without maintaining, clean up this heritage.

We see here and there sculptures. The plate, if any, is erased. Some, if their authors have become famous must be worth a lot of money ... but no one has kept track of it!

This work is on the lawn, along the avenue Simone-Pellisier. Following this long avenue (1,2 km), you can see several.

This "lying man" seemed to have a foot and a removable hand (see photos)
