EN: The small power plant Zer Niwu Schiir stands on the northern edge of Mund on the access road. The power station produces electricity from excess drinking and irrigation water, which is led to the village from a side valley in a tunnel.
The power plant was put into operation in 2015. The plant is operated jointly by the energy supply company EnBAG and the municipality of Naters. It is one of three production facilities on the water network of Mund. Together they produce about 8,000,000 kWh.
DE: Das Kleinkraftwerk Zer Niwu Schiir steht am Nordrand von Mund an der Zufahrtsstrasse. Das Kraftwerk poduziert Strom aus überschüssigem Trinkwasser und Wasser zur Bewässerung der Felder, das aus einem Seitental in einem Stollen zum Dorf geleitet wird.
Das Kraftwerk wurde 2015 in Betrieb genommen. Die Anlage wird gemeinsam von der Energieversorgungsgesellschaft EnBAG und der Gemeinde Naters betrieben. Es ist eine von drei Produktionsanlagen auf dem Wasserversorungsnetz von Mund. Sie produzieren zusammen ca. 8‘000‘000 kWh.
