EN: The chapel of the Holy Family stands alone on a small hill in the center of Mühlebach. The white building has a retracted chancel and a ridge turret with a small bell on the fairly steep gabled roof. The chapel is covered with slate, not the traditional large slabs, but many small ones in shape and size of shingles.
The chapel was consecrated to the Holy Family in 1676, but since the 19th century the veneration of Saint Joseph has been more prominent, so that today it is sometimes called after him unofficially.
DE: Die Kapelle Heilige Familie steht alleine auf einem kleinen Hügel im Zentrum von Mühlebach. Das weisse Gebäude hat einen eingezogenen Chor und einen Dachreiter mit einen kleinen Glocke auf den ziemlich steilen Satteldach. Die Kapelle ist mit Schiefer gedeckt, allerdings nicht mit den traditionellen grossen Platten, sondern mit vielen kleinen in Form und Grösse von Schindeln.
Die Kapelle wurde 1676 der Heiligen Familie geweiht, doch seit dem 19. Jahrhundert steht die Verehrung des Heiligen Josef mehr im Vordergrund, so dass sie heute manchmal auch inoffiziell nach ihm benannt wird.
