The Historical Information Sign reads:
"Nowa Nowa Bridges
"Bridges have always been of great importance in Nowa Nowa. Both road and rail bridges have been essential for the transport of goods and produce in and out of the town and neighbouring communities. Nearby forests supplied the massive timbers needed for posts, piles and beams for bridges and railways.
