On display next to the fire truck is a certificate of authenticity (cert. #675) issued in 1974.

Information on display:

American LaFrance rolled off the assembly line their first motorized fire engine in 1907. The manufacturing plant that produced the one on display here was in Elmira, NY. The Itasca fire engine was ordered in March 1917. It rolled off the assembly line August, 1917.
